He will score his first goal in the Premier League for the London side against Birmingham. His last goal in 2010 will be the one against Manchester City. This ensured that Tottenham finished fourth and plays in the Champions League.

On the International scene he scored his first goal against Uruguay in a friendly. He was included in the team that represented England at the 2006 World Cup and he will score a goal against Trinidad and Tobago. He was also in the team that participated in the 2010 World Cup.
